Trundling round the countryside with a classic VW camper van and a set of cameras.
Pootling round the Devon countryside with a VW camper is timeless. It reminded me of extensive travelling round New Zealand for a picture library in a bright yellow purring motor but way better. Everyone looks at you, then waves, then smiles…..they are having fun looking at you driving....having fun = perfect. A friend had been restoring an original British RHD 21 window caravette camper van for several years and suddenly it was ready. We had been chatting about shooting some images, but the weather was rubbish, then a few weeks ago we had a couple of hours window and managed to shoot off some frames trundling through the English countryside…..now it sold!!

Making the most of the weather shooting more scenic stock early mornings
Devon PR photographer Guy Harrop has been out shooting more seascapes and landscapes this year across the South West. Said Guy," A lot of the stock images can be a bit hit and miss especially when you are trying to juggle it with a daily diary. When you are not on a commissioned shoot, the weather is usually rubbish and not too great for stock images. This year I have been quite lucky both with images and sales. I think the more I don't succeed the more I want to try, so putting in that extra effort can pay off."
