Devon and Cornwall food photographer Guy Harrop has built up an appetite editing recent shoots for top wedding and restaurant venues across the Westcountry UK. His food images are regularly used in magazines, books and newspapers across the world and in brochures and online marketing. Said Guy, "  Editing is my post production of the shoot. Recently I have been shooting lots of food photography and too be honest,  during some of the edits I have had to go and eat something as my photos have made me hungry!" Luxury house interior photography proves more popular across the Westcountry

This year Guy Harrop has been photographing lots of house interiors for clients keen on keeping their holiday accommodation portfolios up to date across the Westcountry. "The holiday letting business seems more competitive this year than ever. I think in the current financial climate, more people are diversifying into property lets and the more attractive the property looks the better the enquiries", said Guy.

Shooting a triathlon book in 2 days keeps the photographer's eye on the action.

Recently Westcountry photographer Guy Harrop has been shooting the latest Haynes triathlon manual with several of the world's best triathletes and sports models across locations in and around the South West UK. During his photographic career Guy has covered most sports including International rugby, football, basketball, surfing, hockey, running, climbing and he has also travelled around the world photographing kite surfing.

This time round the photo shoot was in the UK. Here were a few of the scenarios - bad weather, good weather, pool steamed up lenses, salt water, waves, wind and sand. 

Guy, was drenched several times during the photo shoots, had his kit covered in sand and salt water twice and with a couple of thousand images under his belt in under 2 days - couldn't be happier...well, apart from the editing.........

free range eggs, chicks, chook eggs, chickens eggs

So many names for free range eggs, and they are endless, and the signs can be very boring. 
But sometimes they can really funny, make you stop in your tracks, smile and buy eggs, even if you don't want to. This is one food photographer Guy Harrop passed the other day on his way to a food shoot in South Devon. Despite being closed, the sign put a smile on the passing motorists' faces.

Shooting Exmoor landscapes dodging cows, sheep, weather and climbing Iron Age forts.

Devon PR photographer out and about shooting lots of landscapes for several clients in and around Exmoor, which, in the right light can look dramatic. There are lots of old Iron age ruins, mounds and forts everywhere, rural life is in abundance but not often on demand. Picking slots in between commercial PR shoots and trying to plan when the sky is half decent can be a big challenge. Often things don't work out, but when they do it is great. International food photographer shooting more restaurants and dishes across the Westcountry

Westcountry PR photographer Guy Harrop has been keeping busy shooting more interiors and culinary food dishes for several top restaurant and hotel owners across the South West UK. The biggest problem with a lot of shoots this year has been the weather, but the last couple of weeks has shown improvement which has helped with a lot of Guy's commissions that have been on standby.
