Tidal Bell sounds out across Appledore

The first completed bell, part of 12 bells to be dotted around the uk coastline chimes as the tide comes in at Appledore, Devon. The bells made by artist Marcus Vergette are part of a National Art Project and rang for the first time to coincide with Apledore Visual arts festival which runs until the end of the weekend.
