North Devon photographer catches up with Russian ballerinas who are now 2 stone lighter, on their UK tour

Members of the famous alternative Russian ballet company, The Big Ballet prepare their makeup before their performance at the Landmark theatre in Ilfracombe, Devon. The Big Ballet company has recently lowered its strict minimum weight requirement from 17 stone to 15 stone, for the first time in it’s 16 year history, this is due to a surprising drop in the average weight of auditioning hopefuls.
