Low noise high ISO helps Devon photographer in low light magazine commissions.

Double page spread on Cornwall rave run published in current edition of Runner's World April 2011.Shot at almost dusk, photographer Guy Harrop had major light issues - luckily using the latest Nikon D3s pushing the ISO up is no longer an issue. This was shot at ISO 2000 160th second at f8 on 200mm lens.

North Devon PR photographer goes to the forest and finds tree hugging a comfort



Thanks to the government's U-turn last month to abandon plans to change the ownership of the 258,000 hectares of state-owned woodland we can all breathe a sigh of relief. Our forests are now safe down to good campaigning and people power. Westcountry PR photographer Guy Harrop has just finished a set of images showing the beauty and harmony between man and the forest.

North Devon photographer catches up with Russian ballerinas who are now 2 stone lighter, on their UK tour


Members of the famous alternative Russian ballet company, The Big Ballet prepare their makeup before their performance at the Landmark theatre in Ilfracombe, Devon. The Big Ballet company has recently lowered its strict minimum weight requirement from 17 stone to 15 stone, for the first time in it’s 16 year history, this is due to a surprising drop in the average weight of auditioning hopefuls. Speaker's State carriage on display at Arlington court, Devon





Conservators ready the Speaker's State Coach for exhibition at Arlington Court's Carriage Museum in North Devon, UK. The coach which has been used for state occasions since the early 18th century was last used at the Royal wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in 1981 and is seen as a symbol of power and status of the Speaker of the House Of Commons. The gold painted and gilded coach is believed to have been made in 1698 for King William III and will be on display for 6 years at the National Trust property.

The Westcountry has such diverse landscapes even in Winter there is often a shot just around the next corner.
